FeONIC technology can either be applied to glass or a bath or hot tub, enabling either product to be able to be turned into a loudspeaker.

FeONIC technology works by converting the amplified audio signal into a vibration so that when the sounders are attached to glass or a bath, they vibrate the surface and turn either glass or a bath or a hot tub into a loudspeaker.

To be able to turn the glass or a bath or hot tub into a loudspeaker we use a high and low frequency sounder with an additional subwoofer, with an inline volume control connected to a supplied amplifier for the correct adjustment of the sounders. From this a sound source will need to be connected.

The FeONIC sounders and the subwoofer units are completely safe to use within a wet environment, the volume control is wall mounted and sealed or an infra red handset is supplied depending on the system chosen. The amplifier with the sound source will need to be located outside the wet area.

The sounders are nominally rated at 30 Watts and have thermal cutouts, such that if they are overloaded they reduce their output until they have cooled down. The frequency range when applied to glass or a bath or hot tub is typically 50Hz to 16 KHz.

There will be four systems available, depending on the sound source required.
