Lamb works in Islington was established in 1982 as the processing division for our Central London office, but within a short time the company had out grown the facilities. Due to the convenient location to the centre of London, it was decided to keep Lamb Works going and open a new factory.

In 1982 Stanley Works was opened in Park Royal for us to be able to handle large sheet of glass 6000mm x 3000mm and for us to install one of the first toughening plants in London. This gave the company the ability to cover a much larger area outside of their usual base of Central London.

Up to the purchase of the new Prefit unit in Park Royal the distribution of the fittings came out of the Lamb Works site. The new enterprise had completely out grown the space allocated to it, so in 2000 the new facility commenced operating. This now holds all of our ‘Fittings for Glass’ that we distribute all over the UK and also incorporates a trade counter.
